Hi, I'm Darlene! I'm the maker behind Harvest Haven, a small-batch skincare and wellness business born from our family homestead, Hickory Hills Haven, in South Georgia.
For the past 10 years, my family and I have embraced a more intentional, self-sufficient way of life. From raising animals and growing our own food to beekeeping, foraging wild botanicals, and learning to make more of what we need ourselves, our homestead has become a place of constant learning, discovery, and connection with nature.
What began as a desire to create simple, natural products for my own family slowly grew into something I wanted to share with others.
Today, I handcraft each Harvest Haven product in small batches, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and incorporating botanicals grown or gathered right here on our homestead whenever possible.
Harvest Haven is more than a skincare business. It's a little pieces of the life we've built, shared with you through products made with care, purpose, and whole lot of heart.
Life on the Homestead
Life on our homestead, Hickory Hills Haven, is always an adventure! Our South Georgia homestead is home to goats, chickens, guinea fowl, pigs, and many other beloved four-legged friends. We grow our own fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers, raise animals, and enjoy discovering the wild botanicals nature provides through seasonal foraging.
From fresh garden harvests and homegrown botanicals to the daily joys (and occasional chaos!) of caring for our animals, our homestead is a place where we're constantly learning, experimenting, and working toward a more self-sufficient, sustainable way of life - and where much of the inspiration behind Harvest Haven begins!
